    Compliance & Coverage Plan: Debug

Debug for Compliance & Coverage Plan.

    Primary debug scenario

Symptom: Coverage at 98%. Team wants to sign off. 2% is ordering cross bins.

    Triage steps

    1. List unhit bins — are they reachable in this configuration?

    2. If reachable: write directed test to hit them.

    3. If unreachable: document exclude with rationale.

    4. If risky to exclude: constrained-random target for those bins.

    5. Never sign off ordering coverage gaps without explicit review.

    Common pitfalls

    • Closing coverage % without requirement trace.

    • Waiving bins without risk assessment.

    • Constrained-random depth instead of gap analysis.
